is tc sock stil workin'?

I heard that they took out TC socketing for good now.
I tried to make sock and got none..i heard nothing about ppl making them or stuff but i hear they r talkin ab. it on forums too.
Can u sock in tc after patch 4355?(i think that was the patch that ended it..or not.
