How to open .IBF files

I've ran into this problem myself when downloading files formated as .ibf files found on elitepvpers. I did some searching on the internet and found a topic on elitepvpers.com asking how to open .ibf files which was unresolved:

After that I came up with a solution. I double clicked the .ibf file then clicked "open with" and selected WinAce Archiver v2.6 and it worked! This program is same one that I use to open my .rar files. By checking always use this program you can associate the file with the program so that in the future all you have to is click the file. Yes, Winace is not freeware, but mine is over 500 days past the trial and has full functionality. The only drawback is you have to click continue on the reminder to register the program. I'm sure there are many other extractors/archivers out there that have the hidden potential to open .ibf files. Try it with your program. It's worth a try. If not you can always download the one I use:

nope, it's the correct file with just another .extension, you can guess the extension or use winace (auto-recognition)

Lol sorry for bumping old thread but you could have simply tried winrar too it also works ... since most ppl got that :P
