This is a very well balanced mod that adds new skills, new items, and new Aura graphics. Brand new uniqs and sets plus mercenary sets.
Always changing. you'll see that it's a very different game! A few monsters from diablo 1 have returned with many other new ones as well

Connecting
1. Install Diablo2 + Expansion (LOD)
2. Patch to 1.11B [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] (Lod Patch)
3. Download D2loader [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] (D2Loader_v1.11b_(Dec_29_2006).zip)
4. Extract the D2loader in the diablo folder
5. Download EasternSun Mod [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] (es300_R5D_full.zip)
6. Extract and install by opening es300_R5D_full.exe
7. It will have made a folder C:\Program Files\Diablo II\es300r\
8. Insider that folder you'll see Patch_D2.mpq Copy it
9. Go back to your Diablo II folder and Paste it Replacing the current one Backup your patch_d2.mpq if you ever want to go back to normal D2
10. Download the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] (Gateway Editor)
11. Open gwe.exe and select the Diablo2/Diablo2Exp Tab on the bottom of the program
12. Click Add Gateway Name: Ciderax.com Server Zone: 6 Server IP: bnet.ciderax.com
13. Click Export to Registry file and save it. Find the .reg you just saved and open it...
14. Open The D2loader that you pasted in the diablo2 folder! (make a shortcut on the desktop to make it easier)
15. Then from the folder es300r (in your Diablo II folder from the installation of es) take out the patch_d2.mpq and put it in your Diablo II Folder.
16. Once diablo2 loads select Ciderax.com Server on the gateway... connect and you should be in! Enjoy
