[Q]How to Create a Rappelz Private Server

Hey Guys/Gals,

Okay I've been a Member of EPVPrs for awhile and following the Rappelz Forum awhile.

However I been very interested in Rappelz Server files and creating a Rappelz Private Server.. the only problem is. back than there was only a few files now I know people have running Private Servers as I played on one a week ago. so now my question is. HOW can i create one as it seems someone has been able to pull the files.

So

1: anyone have the files as i've searched here and Google but came up with nothing just people saying they have it but no release
2: Once i have the files how do i create one.

I'm not looking to play with other people mostly unless there good friends but I mostly just wanna solo the bosses and give myself the best pets that i've so longed since I joined Rappelz 5 Years ago lol


So can anyone help me?

If you would have read and searched through the dev server files post you'd have found that NO ONE has all the complete DB needed to create a server.

The server you played on, is the one and only pserver out there and the admin is NOT sharing the files...

ah damn

that sucks oh well guess i gotta wait longer to play on my own pserver xD thanks anyway disney

the biggest problem is that unlike a lot of the games, rappelz's player base isn't that big, and an even smaller portion of that is computer literate, ie knows how to work with databases and code in visual c++ etc. If you really want to see the 'current' project to get a database up be successful, you should read up the [dev] thread completely and learn how to work with MSSQL and c++ as im doing right now. The only way we will ever see a server emulator is if more people work on it so theres a higher chance of it finally happening. Happy New Year also.

Hmm. May work on my Art and programming a bit see if anyone ever gets on running they can hire me as gfx artist :D

MY FRINED THE paasword is wrong umbrella-corp.c

Are these the lost files, and like he said how to I plug them in to a full linux box and run the gme via private server.
