Playing in 1920x1080

Hey everyone,

I have searched the forums alot for details on how to run the game either in windowed or fullscreen mode in 1920x1080 (16:9 aspect ratio) since that is my desktop resolution.

When I run it in 1280x1024 (which is the maximum offered by the launcher) the game screen itself is small and makes playing difficult.

I edited the COption.ini file to give the resolution 1920x1080 and ran the game (windowed/fullscreen) but it crashes after loading (I am using windows 7 64bit - my specs are very high and it is a laptop I use)

Any ideas?

p.s. - I read that the maximum resolution the game offers is 1600x1200 or so..I tried something like that but I couldn't see the bottom of the screen - and yes, I have tried the whole "/wide" thing and nothing seems to work.

Are you blind or something?

When the game, only support 1280x1024 as max, then you can play only with this resolution.

your GFX card on your laptop prob does not support true 1080 that is why the game probably crashed

2nd your playing on a laptop your screen is fairly small so when switching to the full1920x1080 your not gonna see all of it. I have my game in full 1920x1080 but i am also on a 46" led samsung and running 5870's in cross fire. works fine on mine. just go with the best resolution that fits on your screen only thing you can do or just keep messing with your ini

I am using a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics adapter and checking the catalyst control centre says that my maximum possible resolution is 1920x1080 - I'll keep tweaking the .ini file I guess.
