How to make sockets?

Hi everyone i have played CO for an enough long time but i have never had the chance to understand how do we make sockets.

That's why i'm asking today how do you make sockets step by step i don't want any theories about how can u increase your chance making sockets just how you make sockets.

my personal theory: spamm mets in twin city on items untill a sok is made(lucky time is suggested to be used), I got myself full plvl equips(that eventually got stolen, I just made a sok bag back)... so...try that

hes right ..thats the way to do er.. if ya have a TON of mets you can buy low level item..upgrade a few times and if no success throw em out and start over... if ya dont get alot of mets then just always up your gear in TC ...

..... a few people have told me they get sockets in the market but ive yet to actually see it with my own eyes...
