Forum software change to vbulletin

We've decided to change our board software from ipb to vbulletin because of the performance problems in the last weeks.
All Threads, Posts, Users will be converted.

The current forum skin will also be converted as much as possible, current beta screen: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

With the new forum software we have much improvements in performance and usability.

We are going to test the converter in the next days so don't be surprised if the board is offline for some hours.

although i have noticed slow down with the epvp forums i was under the presumption it was the servers it was hosted on, as for IPB being unreliable I'd say each to their own but please be aware that you are using v1.3 and that v2.3 is avilable now so this forum software is years old, it is also vunerable to alot of security issues that 2.3 doesnt have.

As for my personal prefernce (not that its gunna count or matter in away) is IPB over vB, but anyroad i not fussed what i use.

I just wanted to mention that the forum software is a very old version and this may be the cause of the problem :)

first import failed due performance problems, going to do the next try local on my homeserver

and Hope That the Performance IS better than now because after Click on Link it takes sometimes 3 - 15 min to load and see the pae correctly ^^

mhm ehrlich das alte gefällt mir besser... das neue sieht so aus wie bei den foren aus denen ic hgleich wieder rausgehe weil so viele striche da sind und so unübersichtlich und bwääääh und überhaupt ^^

und wenn das karma system weg is isses schade, weil dann weis man nicht immer wem man vertrauen kann
