Which 5165 Source Is Better And What type?

12/21/2010 10:24 sohaib#1
Hello, well i worked on my source alot and i finished it, most of thigns are fixed so now i'm bored, i'm looking for a new work

i had a NewestCOServer ,and now i want a custom source
i source Able to compete the 5095 sources

i think the best ones are Impulse's Source and Co-SX , but which one bettter

or there is a source better

i prefer the SQL sources because they said it's Stable , less bugs and fast

So you guys, as professionals which source you advice me to use it ? the best from the system not the features, because npcs, pk events, commands, are not important

so the Result is : Want a source that can get 50 80 players and stable without problems and rollback blabla, and about features, they're easy to add

Thanks and sorry fr disturbance

or there is a source better Project Manifesto?

i prefer the SQL sources because they said it's Stable , less bugs and fast For the most, for complex operations MsSQL is faster.

So you guys, as professionals which source you advice me to use it ? the best from the system not the features, because npcs, pk events, commands, are not important Thank god, I would recommend Impulses source I learned so much from that source.

Thanks and sorry fr disturbance

lotf is and always will be not worth using. Impulses or project manifesto are the best 5165 sources. If you feel you're ready to work on something custom or more advanced, why not go with a newer patch server though?

This reply definitively fail.. If Source have different structure and etc. doesn't mean that is different in C# LMAO ,, The only difference is coding style of Tanel and Impulse.. and You will never find a source of kind that you are looking for ..

You wont find a source that looks the same, they are all different, if you cant understand the syntax of C# then your going to struggle to write in any source.

If you cant figure out what .cs files related to what then you definately wont be able to work with any other source.

Ultimately you need to learn the basics of the C# language and syntax.

That's the problem now'a days -- everyone's learning source-specific coding and not enough people are deriving knowledge from it such as the actual language itself. I feel yer pain.

You say that just because you can't code in it?

The potential in C# is massive. Limited, but can do some Phenomenal shit if you bother to learn it, experiment in it, go about things in the most unusual way/different way and you can make some good stuff.

If C# is boring then why are you still in this community? You have to use C# to create a customizable private server, so get used to the fact that you have to use it and are going to have to learn the syntax.

This. Quite ignorant. You don't have to know C# to be a part of CONQUER PRIVATE SERVERS. I made a non-C# private server. Just because most people here do C#, doesn't mean that's the only option.

Well ill put it this way, if this person isnt capable of understand C# theres no way they will ever understand C++.

So while this is true, you dont have to, it clearly doesnt apply to this person.

Then ur putting it wrong, some C/C++ coders don't understand C/C++, as some C# coders don't understand C/C++.

Is the same as saying someone who can't speak spanish, cannot learn italian.

...No, its the same as saying someone who cant understand something as simple as C# in all likelyhood cannot understand something as complex as C++.

The issue is not other languages being more difficult, it's the fact that you said, summed up, "if you don't know C#, leave". You're pushing away people who do not like C#. Do you have some personal vendetta against other programming languages? Just because someone doesn't like C# doesn't mean they should be shunned. I for one use both C# and C++ on a daily basis. Should I be shunned because I don't like C# overall?
