Conquer on the go

Plain but simple never seen it posted many may know this but here it is simply take a 2 gig thumb drive hook it up to your comp open up you c drive go to program files then right drag your conquer folder to the thumb drive and choose copy here, now that that is done you can take it with you anywhere simply plug the drive into a comp and open it up double click the play icon in the co folder or make a shortcut inside the drive it will run from the thumb drive no problems XD have fun and when your done simply remove the drive from the comp and go works on any comp anywhere givin it meets the requirements.....just a fast fyi be sure to clear your chat logs everyonce in a while or the stored files will build up and cause the client to crash.........if you already knew this please dont flame if you didnt already know well now you do +k if it helps

well if we figure out what files arent needed u can minimize the size, there should b some files that CO can run without

Append on Jul 26 2007, 19:07
what does the c3.wdf and data.wdf do? those are the biggest files there

Try sounds, server images etc.

You dont have to take out nothing it will take up a little less than 1.5 gigs i have started doin this for work now. Tested Proven Working XD

what were trying to do is minimize the stuff needed so it can fit in 1gb or less thats y i was suggesting what items could b deleted.

all the sounds can go and you cant edit some ini not to load them that makes it bypass the sound error.

ah okay i see, well i couldnt tell you what files are crucial or not but if you keep an eye on places like office max and best buy you can sometimes get a decent 2 gig for just a few dollars more than a 1 gig i got mine for 16 bucks just the other day at our college bookstore so not to much for having a back up and bieng able to play anywhere especially when the site sells the cd for 10 bucks
