What to code...

Hey,

Post a comment with ideas on cool shit to code. I might give it a go since I have not idea what to code at the moment.

C# please.

a universal control panel for all server versions

Hello world can be a good start.

damn, thats what you get for trying to use your cell phone for elitepvpers. 3 posts? ha, wonder how you delete em?

Create a fight calculator. Design it to equip two characters with various options, and perform a turn based battle simulation.

Hello !

It must be way too hard but it would be amazing.

A fully-working .c3 loader :

Importing to .3ds rigged, animated characters, vertices, meshes without loosing textures, loading animations/effects correctly in 3ds

Exporting to .c3 any meshes, animations, characters/armors with custom vertices, uvw mapping effects, particles effects, autokey animations allowing rotation+scaling+moving animations)

But yea.. i dont know if it could be coded in C# or if it could even be coded anyhow.

I'm pretty sure it can be coded as someone send me a buriedblade mesh converted from .c3 to .3ds and .3ds files are editable.

A C++ source. Don't waste your time fixing or making useless tools.

Yup Kiyono but this loader was very limited =x it was basically just a static mesh importer, so mainly weapons ( .c3 to .3ds ). Also it was breaking the uvw most of the time ( no texture ) so it's kinda useless.
It might be too hard to accomplish that challenge, i guess.

But it would be cool to see tools for conquer designers, and not coders for once ;)

Tools for designers would be handy, but... Not many programmers want designers for their servers, and thus, won't make the tools, and not many designers are going to get far in the programming department. Sure, some can do both, but when they can, they normally don't want to waste even more of their time, so they simply stick to the programming. Over all, most designers get left out...

... bump.

DBC Editor :) ?

I just coded a server loader that pings both authentication and game ports at a specified interval, and restarts the server if one or both aren't working correctly.

You should too. It's not too tough.

Actually, I have no ideas. Lol.

I wasn't aware ideas were language dependent. In that case, I have none for you as I know not of any idea that is restricted to C#.

A self-compiling C# compiler would be C# restricted.
