A few Questions

Hey eveyrone i have only a few questions and yes.... i... did.... use.... search...

Here they are-

1. Is there a way to make it so when i make a pacth, they have to have the newest version to log in.

2. There is a skill called somthing like dragon (cant rember) but it is like a chain chop skill and i was wondering if anyone had it.

3. Does anyone have a list of ALL effects for a char? I found a thread wih like 5 but i was assuming that there were more.

4. How do you put somone on a timed botjail or a times ban. I tryed ysing aceeo one but it dident wrk.

5. What is the pm code to reload cq_action?

1- just add the version.dat into the patch and change it,
2- Search for Dragon Storm released be4
3-Search for it
4- u can use KA's tool
5-/reloadaction

If you are trying to help people stay at the most up-to-date client, then using a patch server along with what Sword said will help them stay up to date. When doing this you should be using a login tool of some kind and not a blacknull to login to your server.

My tool (as seen in my signature) hasn't been updated to use a timed botjail as of yet. I just started development on this two days ago, but I hope to get the first release of it out next week. As for right now, no one has released any tools for this that work. I assume people besides acme just use a spreadsheet or something to keep track :rolleyes:.

Specifically:
/reloadaction xxxxxxx - to reload a specific action or:
/reloadaction 0 - to reload every action. This will cause noticeable lag on your server so it's best not to use it on a production server, or if you have to not during peak times.
