Gold

I feel like such a noob asking this. But here goes.

When gold/sycee/silver is on the ground, has it already been set what amount it's worth, or is it like a +1 where when you pick it up, the server decides. I'm sure you've all noticed that if there are 4 gold drops from one monster, they all have close to the same amount (537, 615, 572, 553).

Why is it that they have close amounts? And is it like a +1, or can you know how much it's worth before picking it up?

Uhmm that is possible, there are also hacks wich show the item quality when the item is on the ground. So it should be possible to see how much gold there is in a pile.. I wouldnt know how. But its possible i think
