nProxy, is it safe?

Hi everyone,

I Recently found out about this program called nProxy so i decided to download it and try it out, and I must say it works great! When I told my friends the name of it they all said stuff like;

'OMFG DONT USE IT'

They then told me about the keyword 'Bannanasplit' causing you to drop all of the items you are wearing..

I then proceded to put all of my good items in the warehouse and asked one of my friends to whisper it to me and see what happens.. He did this in various spellings below is a list of what we tried;

Bannanasplit
Bannana Split
bannanasplit
Bannana Split
#Bannanasplit
#Bannana Split
#bannanasplit
#bannanasplit

After testing all of these out. I did not drop any of the equiped items or infact any item I was wearing.

I decided not to use it until I found out exactly if it was safe or not and if the rumour is just a load of bull or not. So I SEARCHED EPVP for nProxy.

I then read both threads explaining that it was not safe.

However, if this is true then why diddnt I drop my items in the tests me and my friend conducted.

Would it be possible for someone to De-compile the version that I have as I believe it is safe. I would decompile it myself but im a noob when it comes to programming so I would appreciate any help on this matter.

Hopefully if it turns out to be safe they we could release a 'SAFE' version of it.

Thanks in advance, and remember no flamming. Also, constructive posts only please.

It is not safe , it will drop your equipment if you say "Bananasplit" not "Bannanasplit".

Look for those two stretches of code in source.

The command is around line 133 or 141.

bupkiss is another dirty command ;) there are others though lol there is ALOT of dirty code in Nproxy and if ya don't know how to read and patch them in memory your never going to find em all.

other backdoor functions run in memory AFTER proxy is executed.

also the ip's which nproxy broadcasts too can be changed i redirected them to unresolving BS ip's and data gets sent to wonderland LOL

Hope this helps you.

Thanks Tw3ak now where going to have noobs running around shouting Bupkiss.
Thats why I just posted the lines in code where to find them.
