12/05/2010 16:10 .Beatz#5
You are right scott, this definatly belongs in the programming section

#request move
12/05/2010 16:14 Syst3m_W1z4rd#6
It can be both, since is also reletated to pservers, sockets, protection, database etc. :)
But might be the programming section more.

Moved, although personally i think that having a massive list of external links basically encourages people to not search, not utilize google, and to not research by themselves, all of which make the community worse, not better, and this doesnt deserve a sticky to be honest.
12/05/2010 17:58 Syst3m_W1z4rd#13
Nobody said it should be sticky.
Is hard to find a good guide most of times.
I did alot research to find them.

Most of the guides are also linking to other places, wich cannot just be "googled".

Peoples are already too lazy to search.

And this is helpful Korvacs, you just don't want to use it, because u know some of the things right?

Actually threads likes this in communities are those wich have helped me most.
Because then you have a start.

Most peoples don't know where to start and what to search.

Have a nice day :)

Yea, Most Of People in Communities are lazy to do some Googling or not to say to make some different type of researching, exploring for what they need :) Let me be honest , even sometimes, Im lazy to some research..
But Like you said, there are sometimes something's that cannot be found on Google ! Today On communities are so much leechers for this guides,so you make what they need I guess :) Anyway Useful guide, mssql ,socket programing and C# Tutorials.. Nice work .. You Get Thanks For me :) :bandit:

Korvacs, since you talk about sticky.
I know you want it sticky, else you wouldn't mention it, BUT because is me, then you don't want it stickied, right?
Well is cool, I don't care if it is stickied or not. Im just posting them to help, but for you as u find it useful, I think you should look at some of the things to, it might help you also.
You think "I already know the stuff", but there is thousands of methodes to do things, so.
Also this could make peoples compare one language to another, instead sitting and blowing one language :)
Learning more language can not make it worse, it can only give a better and more global experience.
