unblocking CO

ok... my parents are stupid and want me not to play conquer during the week this summer... my dad has found the port of conquer and blocked it. and ideas how to unblock?? Ty --Taydog

There are two ports actually, did he block them both? :D You can always use a proxy. Get a friend to host the proxy and you can connect through his comp :D change the ports and viola.

yea jsut use CO through a proxy

I guess using 127.0.0.1 won't work.
If you use a router - [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] has a lot of explanations...
If you use a cable modem, you can just go to the localhost, or to the properties and unblock.

they also may have not blocked the port they may have just blocked it through the fire wall options simply get to the allow and deny list and check it so the computer allows it or shut off the fire wall either way may be the simplest trick.....

No, use the restaurateur program.
Start>All Programs> Accessories> System Tools>And use the System Restoration's program

Well there is a port number inside the server.dat file inside you conquer folder, open server.dat in notepad, find lightning, and try changing the port=xxxx to another number.

swing a punch at ur parents and start a punch up lol that should do the trick

they have some sort of a proxy server... and he can block and unblock ports whenver he wants...
ive seen him do it
he has linux and he logs in, uses the sudosu command and types his pass then goes root/bin, kill conquer.sh

ive tried that... it dosent seem to work... i just tried the number below like 9957 or something like that. if ne one finds one that works with diffrent server let me know =P (and they will get +K if it works) lol

I've had the same problem.. i just used Qoproxy.. seemed to let me on.., but, not sure about that linux stuff :D
