Help Please!

I'm very sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

Well around 2 days ago my files stopped showing its extensions.
(before it was: example.exe)
(now it's: example)

Can someone tell me how to make the files show its extensions?

You go into a folder. Then klick in the upper bar -> Extras -> Folderoptions -> Then the middel Option (I think it is "View")-> then "dont show extensions at known filetypes".

Actually my Windows is in german, so i dont know the exaclty Names ^^

open a folder -> extras -> folderoptions -> view -> disable known extensions ( or something like that )

just try it, i dont know how that options are called in english ...

but my computer is different instead of the extra's bar it was tools.
