im making my own server.need pro help

ok i started making my own server got most teh stuff i need from a file called conquer server full.now i have been through all the steps making teh server blah blah blah.now when i try to login to teh server it say's server maint blah blah blah.so i went back through it found that there is a file called XYThreadPool that is not opening says that it need sto be installed now teh file is there and every thign is in place i am using microsoft visual c+ 2005.So any help woudl be great or if soem oen has another way to make a privat server i could use soem ideas and as always i am looking for peopel to help me out with this.thanx alot to all who try and help.

I swear.. lol. The XYThreadPool is absolutely horrible. If possible, I recommend using something else x.x

For another option, you can use my server files. They aren't as developed but then again, neither were the public source releases. Still working on them. Work in progress :P as for the C# sources, post an ss of the error (not in the client) or something.

If the errors are something along the lines of "external function not found" then make sure the .lib is inside the project folders (in vs8.0).

oh.. I just noticed.. you can't mess with those sources with VC++. They are in C#, not C++.

yea sorry i do have c# now when i first open teh program up i get this.the aplication for project C/blah blah blah XYthreadpool.vbproj is not installed
make sure the aplication for teh project type (.vbproj) is installed. now im not sure how to install this or what ever if your files are beter and a little easer for a noob liek me to understand.im not oen to give up.im just hopeing to at least get ont the server so i can start working on teh real project.

XYThreadPool was made in VB. It's saying you don't have VB installed. You shouldn't need VB anyway... You'd only need it to edit the lib.

My files are easier yes, but they are not quite as functional. ^^

What's the real project you're working on?

well first is to get on my own server.Then i will work on making items monsters and so on.preety much i know alot about computers but not much on teh programing part.im abou tto head to bed been working on this for about 8 hours now.just this thing is holding me up.i have had the server running but cant sign on.so i am guessing its the XYthredpool that steh problim.i am tryign to larn more about programing and thought this would be a good way to do it also im sick of TQ and there butt raping ways lol.maybe if you have time you coul dtalk to me on msn i might learn more.my msn is [Only registered and activated users can see links.
