Prices!

Ok. Well I've been playing conquer for some time now. A year and a half to about 2 years to be exact. I left Zeus and joined Pyramids (the first server I ever joined when I was first introduced to CO). Everything looks ok so far. I do merchanting alongside hunting and training. I usually check the market to see what's up. To my surprise I noticed that all the prices are so damn high on Pyramids! What the hell is up with these people?! DBs sell for 45kk and a flimzy elite armor costing only 5mil on Zeus costs close to 20 mil (without sockets) on Pyramids. This is outrageous and it drives me up a wall. I mean I make sales and so on, but jeez man.. how can one survive in such an economically challenged environment?:eek:

Yea, basically all servers are like that now. Everything doubled or tripled since lottery. Sucks.

dam seems like my server pretty cheap elie corno 1kk dbs 22kk elite armours range from 700k-2kk depending on class (i wont say what server it is dont want it to overflow). i suggest u get a warrior or archer and bot them then sell the items they find. or you could always buy DBs

lol.ive been in pyramid all the time ,since lotto the prices quadrupled .but really its ok cuz mets and all cost 400k and gems 1.3kk and +1s 2kk so its still easy to get wat u want ,it really depends on wat class u are tros cost most for armour but low on weps ,archer cheap but super bow costs way to much(like 400kk)
taos they rule theyre super chap but they suck,warriors same as tro but not so expansive,just buy dbs off net and ull get up there so damn fast

Just have to be in a populated server. More population = more stable economy. My server holds steady at 20kk dbs. 90k mets. 300k gems (gold needle ones). Prices are great. Well, as good as possible with lottery. Before lottery they were 5kk dbs.

That's lucky. Pyramid's prices are insane now. I'm not so sure about your population theory because I got a "server full" error 2 days ago. I think that due to lotto (mostly) the supply of money has increased so much that prices are higher in general.

Something else that adds to it: douchebag marketers, namely Microtaoist, ***haitham***, GeorgeWBush, spellfire, and others who always have had grossly inflated prices and still do. Seems we've had a recent influx of noobs who think copying those prices is a good idea. :rolleyes:

I used to play on pyramid. for the co2 beta that is... Its a shame when a few people have grossly inflated prices with the intention of raising values of everything.

Once one of those market inflaters had his main char beside him stocking him up. I know it was him when I asked him if I could buy the +1 armor for cheaper. Yeseven scorpio has 1 or two inflaters. LOL. In short, I kos'd him for 2 weeks, and he asks me how can he stop the kos he would do anything. I told him to use normal prices in his vender. And he has been selling for normal/low prices ever since. Owned.

Arbiter DBS are 60kk...
