i cant get win98 to run on vmware
it needs to be FAT32, somehow it does not want to install

I may be wrong but what the fuck is the point of hosting a big server with a weak server based OS which will mostly lag initial resources ? for the server itself ?.

Great list this has helped me but i would much rather use windows 7 which i will try and find a way past im on windows 7 home premium with an asus G73 :).

Will post back here if i find anything.

I'M good at code and hex work i might be able to override some stuff to make windows 7 work but it will be really shitty and choppy i guess :(.

this list is for newbies trying to make a server, so now ill post this on dkunderground and anyone who wants to make a server can see what OS they should use, and put a endless stop too questions like: Why cant i run Dkserver on win7 / vista

he's right, they dont wanna work for their answer, how many times have we directed the noob to the post just above the one they posted ?

or the countless posts that could have been answered if they read just the first post on the stickies?

how many times have noobs asked if there was a server download, and where?

how many times they ask where the difference client was?

and all they had to do was look in the first post of the first sticky, yet they took the time to make the f-ing post?

congratz ur doing this, but i feel its in vain

and i have a server running on WIN 3.11 as we speak . . .

j/k lol :P
