hmm got same...but downloaded latest version from the web.
i also googeld ur problem, but couldnt find a solution, neither in english or in german.

I had similar problem with the cross fire game. My problem was that i couldnt log into the game with the sound card on. I had to disable it in order to enter. I solved the problem by getting a new vga for my computer. But really i dont know exactly why didnt work.
My suggestion is to try another sound card.

sometimes i' ve git the same problem. everytime when my computers does that, i reboot the computer..then my cross fire works without any problems
but that is my suggestion, so if it don't works, you will find another solution

i would prefer bying a new soundcard. soundcards aren't so expensive. perhaps your soundcard doesn't tolerate with crossfire, or some soft/hardware problems...
