how to make register.php work and client work at the same time

Prior to my tut I am assuming you already checked this steps:
1. Followed Warmongers Ultimate Dekaron Server Setup
2. That you had succesfully downloaded and implement Silkbotters web registration php's and installed XAMPP server
3. That you already edited all the .ini in your htdocs folder with localhost IP 127.0.0.1, (yup, including Login server config.ini)

NOW this is what I learned:
1. When you setup your system DSN which you named "account" with log-in and password = account, at the part where you have to click the "change the default database to"..its left UNCHECKED, so it will default to "master"...
- THE EFFECT OF THAT IS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO LOG IN GAME "if you have made an account already using Warmongers "SQL Query ANalyzer"...BUT IF B]Y[OU HAVE NOT MADE AN ACCOUNT YET you can not make one with "register.php", coz IT WILL GIVE AN ERROR!!! after hitting SUBMIT.[/B]

THIS IS MY SOLUTION:
1. GOTO Administrative Tools/DataSources(ODBC)
2. In the System DSN TAB, "ADD" a new entry, name it "registration server" (without the quotes)
3. SQL Server you want to connect to is your DATABASE SERVER (the one that you used when you made 'account' in ODBC
4. check "With SQL Server Authentication using login ID and password entered by the user"
5. check "Connect to SQL Server to obtain default settings

NOTE:
6. "USE" the same login ID & password that you have used in creating "account" in ODBC
7. THEN this is IT:
- CHECK "Change the default database to: "account" then CLICK NEXT

8. Click FINISH

NOW IN YOUR SYSTEM DSN YOU HAVE
1. account SQL server
2. Registration server "linking" to account ^_^

- now you can play the game and register using the "register.php" that SILKBOTTER released, " at the same time.

NOTE:
Go to htdocs, and find this ===> $account_odbc = odbc_connect('account','account','account');
- this corresponds to sql server/your log in name/your password
- as you can see, there were 3 entries with name "account"...NOW you have to change the 1st with registration server so it will look like 'registration server','account','account'

- FIND THIS SIMILAR strings in the other .ini's (config.inc,password,register,map php's)
and modify it with the example above.
- AFTER EDITING, DONT FORGET TO SAVE IT (use notepad++) easier for editing

--- NOW MY QUESTION TO THE PRO's IS---
1. how to configure the registration in a LAN environment with 3 client computers connected to a router with 1 server. With this settings:
a. the router has been configured to port forward http and dekaron ports
b. router DHCP enabled
c. ISP subscription is dynamic
d. client and server PC are all configured with static IP :mofo:

EDIT: This tut is outdated... use Janviers no ODBC register.php...tried and easiest to deploy ^^

use 192.168.1.XX in you config files,
like us ppl from belgium: Telenet internet will block all ports from 0 to 1024 for security reasons, ask you provider if they block any ports
User alternative ports for HTTP like: 8080
use: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] if your port are open
if you have a "dynamic ip" like i do, DO NOT REBOOT YOUR SERVER
most new modems will not change a ip if they dont need to, here is a example:

- I have 4 computers connected in a router, 1 computer serves as the server, the 3 as clients. All configured with IP4 static ip address
I want to be able to register in my server registration page using those client computers...how will I configure the server so that I can access registration page in my client PC's which are connected in the same router

- I dont have problem running the game on those client pc without hamatchi.

use the server ip and install xampp, use alternative port if you need to: 8080
go to 192.168.1.XXX:8080 and point to the reg page, ... done


if you need a new IP, ask your provider to "pull the plug" on your account
they can ask the master server to reset your ip, disconnect your modem for about 30sec
do on all PC's ipconfig /release
connect modem
ipconfig /renew
you should have a new ip

I want to tell you: is great [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. I saw one of my friend navigating here and he asked me for information about inflretution.
I didn t knew what to say, but afther a while he come back and told be about [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].
From then i visit frecvent this site.
