Hi guys,
I'm having trouble setting up my local server on windows 7.
my friend recommended this forum to search for help.
I'm using Dopestar's old guide from ********:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
followed every step, and I'm at restoring the databases.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
I have to search for my kal_auth file, did so, put that into the bar and I get this error:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Dopestars guide sais:
this is what my server map looks like.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
furthermore I'm having a problem with ODBC, but that might be the cause of the previous.
Added the kal_auth to System-DSN, but I cannot select the server (local)
all the above leads to me having to put in an ID and PW when opening DBserver, loginserver and mainserver.
I've never gave an ID or PW when installing mssql.
Any help is greatly appreciated :)

apparantly his kal_auth file has an .mdf extension, mine does not have an extension.Quote:
~Still in options under "Move to physical file name" put that address so for me I would have "C:\Documents and Settings\Jared\Desktop\Kal.Server.Working.2006.09. 01\KALdb\KAL_AUTH.mdf"
Do the same thing for the log file as well.
