VMware game connection problem

I've managed to get VMware and windows XP up and running. I try to log into the game I'm playing, King of Kings 3, but it says, "Connection is interrupted."

I can use the internet(IE8) on my virtual machine so I know I have internet access... I tried to port forward and it's still not working, but I'm not sure I'm doing it correctly. :(

Anyone familiar with using VMware or have any tips?

Hm, I've had a similar problem with Hyper-V & Dell-machines.
I wasn't able to download stuff via SVN and the conneciton was pretty unstable.
After I've installed a different driver on my host system, it worked. :)

Did you also try to create requests using the same proto as the game has?

I'm not sure how to create requests.

The host computer can run the game perfectly fine, but when I attempt to login with my virtual machine if gives the connection error. One works and the other doesn't.
