Cyclone Help!

First off...

The problem: Tro-Arch cyclones are seemingly 'stopped' for no apparent reason after 200-300 kills (give or take 200). No matter how many mobs you kill after a while your cut off and your Cyclone time bar just keeps falling; no matter how many kills you make!

What I've tried: The best results i ever got was from takign things very slow and allowing the cyclone time bar to drop occasionally and using alot of left clicks (as aposed to scatter). This helped a very little bit.

I tied just left clicking, just running, goign slow, going really really fast... but i still get randomly cut off... :S

Only thing i;ve notices is that when i cast cyclone a small blue box appeares briefly near the bottom right of teh screen near the kill counter, in recent patches this box has turned green :S I'm sure that wasn;t there when i was a trojan...

Any ideas on how to overcome this?

Well, maybe ur cyclone version isnt good.

same with sm... u have to do it slowly... wait before u cast spell... then dont attack.. wait few secs and then attack it wont fall fast...

tip: only kill 80 monsters per cyclone, or kill at least 160.

when the xp skill apear wait a little while until the bar its almost gone.. then u cast cyclone. :)

Ok thanks for your help guys, i think a combination of the lot will help alot... any one know why this happens though? Is it a genuine attempt to stop arch's getting large cyclones? or some form of lag where you get over 80 kills and it starts mis-registering them:S

SM? You don't have SM on archers. It'd be overpowered.

I have a tro-arch and yea, it cuts out if you go too fast. You have to pace yourself. An easy way to do it is setup a timer on a real tro and calc the time that the bar gets near the end, but not quite and how many kills you get and how long it takes for the xp skill to reactive. That'd be your goal scattering. Get xx kills in xx amount of time. No more, no less. Less will lose your skill and more will bug your skill also causing you to lose it. I've gotten like 6k kills doing it but I went too fast. Sucks that a simple mistake makes you lose it all xD I've heard if you 1hit hawks and do it there you go too fast for it to even glitch. Maybe you should try that?

The only correlation i've found was lagg. If you don't lagg, this won't even happen.
About the blue box, it WASN'T even there before the reduce-gems-implement-lottery patches. The first few patches it was blue, then green, and now its 2 green boxes. The only correlation between the appearance of the box and sm/cyclone is that now it stays longer than before (the bar used to fall faster).
as for fixes, i only found two as stated by the ppl above:
1. delay casting of sm/cyclone
2. kill fast enough to fill the xp ball before it falls

Cyclone will also timeout after 2.5minutes, but thats not the problem.

The colored boxes go Red,Blue,green. They have been there since co1.0. Red boxes last 6 seconds, Blue lasts 4, and Green lasts 2 seconds.

Now, that being said... You get those boxes by getting on ko board. I don't have exact numbers but it seems 100-50 = Green, 49-20 = Blue, and 19-1 = Red. You have to get the right position on the ko board to get the boxes you desire, and if people knock down your ko board place, the boxes will drop in color accordingly.
