Question about keyloggers

I recently got hacked... it wasnt any of my bots because they were all packet sniffed and scanned... Now, they only thing i can think of.. is that i accidently clicked Net7's signiture link on forums.. i immediatly closed windows and ran anti virus... later that nght.. my msn and conquer accs were all hacked...

so is it posible he hacked me over clicking a link?

yes thats possible.. what link exactly did u use?

the one in his siggy.. it says someting about oh shit 2.0.. or something.. guess its a link to his proproxy?

Did you know that keyloggers send typed messages immeadiately to its creator, but the creator can use it 5 years later? That means, its possible that you got the keylogger from another source a long time ago, but they didn't hack you until now.

thanks for that info.. im reformatting my hd in 2 days.. i gues that will solve that?

If you are reformatting your HD just for this reason, don't. Follow my instructions, try it out. Reformatting HD will consume alot of time.

yeah i know.. i am ftrain on forums too but my forum account was hacked... so i had to make The+Lord to use the forums

If your going to reformat your computer then it might not remove the keylogger if its a good one. Get something like KillDisk which is a boot disk which removes all things that reformatting doesnt.
