Bot and not using it?

Hey

is it possible to get detected and banned from SRO if you have the bot but are not actually botting. E.g. - I have latest bot and am logged in with it but i am not botting and just stalling or playing manually? Does this put a player in risk
or do u just get detected by MOD's asap?

If packets are being sent, yes. If packets are not being sent no.

Nonetheless you are USING softmod and using an illegal client so technically yes you can still be banned. But if you aren't sending packets you are a lot less likely to not be banned.

I know a fix for this, buy Joy maxs shield of ban. (for those who don't know how, go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], item mall, and buy some silk. Doesn't matter how much, any will do and you won't get banned!)

humm ... the packets stuff isnt seem to b right ... cuz if joymax would ban players over packets %
i would got banned years ago since i get about 8% packet loss every time i turk sro on(ligaly)

packets means when i pick up items/ click on items etc..

if i stall or play legally with the bot and illegal client (play by hand.. e.g. im doin a trader run) im still at risk getting banned

the bot r not working anymore cuz it out of date and they r woking on it to make it work.

to answer the question if you can get banned or not is easy, do you use softmod? if the answer is yes then yes you can be banned. is it detected? no one knows for sure. however here is a good question, if they can detect it then wouldnt they DC you from the server as soon as you logged in?
better yet, they can just auto ban you if the server can detect it. but as i said no one knows for sure.

as for the softmod, i just checked and seen that the moderators got the new files and he was scanning them a few hours ago. keep your hopes up, till then i'm killing 750 ultra blood flowers 3 times lol
