Hi all

I recently added a thread about having a problem running conquer with vista.

I had a few people PMing me stating they had the same issue.

Well i have found a solution, install conquer, uninstall it and reinstall again.

Go into my computer your local hard disk and program files and find your co directory.

Once you have done that you should see a list of files and applications

Find autopatch.exe and run that it will auto patch and then run the conquer main screen and allow you to play.

NOTE: this will allow you to play but you will have to use autopatch.exe in your conquer directory all the time.

This worked for me so it should work for you.

I don't see the difference, everytime you click enter from running play.exe, autopatch.exe automatically runs, there is no difference in either if you run autopatch.exe or play.exe because either way, autopatch.exe will run. If you have problems with vista, please right click and run as administrator or turn off user accounts control within control panel, if it is an incompatibility issue, do not whine, theres no fix until a new ver comes out.

That actually doesnt work i run play.exe and it quits co before the autopatch.exe runs

mine now works because i do this

oh and that user control and run as admin doesnt change anything

idk but i do know that TQ uses vista so it has to work i think
