Disturbia Online V2 - Under Development, Announcement.

DISTURBIA ONLINE v2

Closely working with previous member of this forum cruey, we have decided to bring back Disturbia Online private server with all new features. The server will be clean and different with all new features which will be announced shortly. Were looking for fresh and new ideas, coding moderators and lots of eager players. If you have any ideas or suggestions for us, please let us know. I will post more updates about the server on this thread aswell as the website.

Applicants for moderator positions can email Crue, or contact via msn service. Please include, obviously, what you are willing to bring to the server. Also, please define which type of moderator postion you desire, select one of the following.

DESIGN MODERATOR: No coding skills required. This type of moderator works with the conceptual sides of things. Thinking and working with the design processes of quests, etc. People who work with casuals would also fall under this category. Requirements for this type include clear english, cooperation skills (as you will be working with the other moderators) and creative skills.

DEVELOPMENT MODERATOR: The development moderators do require coding skills. This means, the know-how on actions, client implementation, textures, monsters, etc. They will work with the design moderators and put the ideas to work. Youll need clear english, cooperation skills, coding skills (as said) and common sense.

COMMUNITY MODERATOR: The community moderators work with players in the game and deal with harrasment, cyber bullying, bots, cheating, advertisments of other private servers, profane/racial/ethnic/sexual/vulgar/obscene speech, etc. They require skills in tolerance, communication, cooperation and english.

ADMINISTRATIVE MODERATOR: These moderators will work with announcements, forums and will also later on, work with moderator applications. Requires cooperation, english and we basically require you to determine who is trustworthy.

MAJOR ADMINISTRATOR: This type of moderator has full control over everything server and communications related. You are required to have lengthly history of working as a moderator, alongside the other requirements of the other moderator types.

You can discuss the types of jobs and requirements with either Crue or me and if you have any queries please dont be shy.
You can apply to become more than one type of moderator.

Our moderators will run our server and a reward system will be used to award contributions. We welcome everyone to join our server. This is a very project and one we will strive to turn out successfully. P.S: Ive convinced Crue to have release some study weve done on the server and also some guides. Stay tuned. lol.

i was a member of Disturbia Online(before known as Devils Advocate Online[PROUD Co-Owner] was changed) staff.. didn't go well. Crue took off expballs and no more than 7 players was online. I hope he learned his lesson.

Ohh, Freehostia is just a hosting site. It has FTP so its real neat.

I have always believed in Disturbia Online, They come up with great ideas and I find the staff pretty helpful, The owner and the rest of the staff has good communication with it's players. Overall, it is a great server to try if you want some new, custom and unique ideas.

What I personally don't like is, when I keep enjoying the server, It suddenly keeps disappearing. As a matter of fact, people spend their valuable time on the server to keep up with the top players, it's just a waste of time because it just disappears. I wonder how long it will stay online though, because the ownership is on the hands of someone else (with what I've heard so far)

I wish you the best of luck, As you've been through this far from announcing it to the public. And pick up the best coders around so you get to keep up with the 'standard' servers.

mm. i'd like to say good luck with bringing back disturbia, crue mr.inferno spongebox and I tried our best but we couldn't keep it up in the end, however now that its under new management i have nothing but high hopes. Good luck sir or madam i hope you make disturbia what we never could.

Hmm, I didnt know much about the old server but I did hear about a shutdown. This was because of issues with the server host. I can assure that with the new release of the server is a stable and dedicated host. So our plan is to be around and active permanently this time.
