Question

As many people know, Net7 hacked everyone who downloaded his proxy. Some people who havent really used the program and deleted it months before had been hacked also. Some people say that things like cotobo, and even multiclient, could have this kind of sending the password to the maker of the bot.

So my question is how to prevent this from happening for someone who hasnt botting for a long time. I used cotobo for like 1 week at least 3-4 months ago. I've also had multiclient made by someone else. If I deleted all those files and changed my password, would I be safe? Some people suggest having to completely reinstall conquer. Why is that needed?

Simple, scan everything before you unpack it, for Java applications you need to decompile it, and if possible use a packet sniffer.

reintalling conquer is useless if your pc happens to get keylogger. Re-installing the system is a better choice.

but proproxy's keylogger only keyloggs your username and pasword, nothing else.
