can joymax detect softmod?

just wandering if its possible for joymax to detect softmod at the moment :cry:

srysly duranni, STOP SAYING SOW LOL but i dont think they can otherwise about 5k botters wouldnt be botting on severs? eh cas like most botters use isrobot cas its probably the only good one

But, they can detect packets, i think you will be banned if you used isrobot + softmod a lot in the past months, but maybe we're lucky and they just ban the selfhealing bots which flooding the servers.

And besides, we did get a big bot punishment before (that was in december 2006 i think). I knew some high-lvl botters they used this bot to, they didn't get banned allthough it was obviously they botted. Everyone was complaining: "Joymax is only banning the goldfarmers" And if you are using silk you're safe anyway.

Just don't bot untill the next punishment and pray.

softmod doesn't send out eny packets.
they are probably banning ppl who use wrong settings for example, auto invite party on (u send out lots of invites on town) and other that type of settings.
I am and i will be 100% sure that they wont ban high lvl bots because most of the money comes from bots (50%+ ppl are bots)

think, if you would have to buy food/clothes/loans etc. from same ammount of money, lets say its 95% from your incomes. and if u lose 50% of that income what will u do? buy less things. If silkroad ban all botters they would have to close some servers too ;)

easiest thing to detect botters is to just check which IPs are logged in with 2 accounts, and then just ban them.
they will probably do that if they really want to ban all/non goldfarmer bots

well said scippy, but i believe if they banned all botters then they will just come back for more, with new accounts... but if they are all banned then it WILL be a LOT easier to get into severs so i cant wait!!!!!!!! even if i do bot i only have low level chars and with under-populated severs it would be great for all the non-botters!

only known thing is that joymax can only detect clientless bot, other than that, you're always at risk of a ban when you bot/hack/cheat w/e...and they do ban silk buyers

& joymax is gonna come out with 3 new servers for whoever's unlucky enough to get banned to go to ^^

The idea of banning ppl who are playin two chars from the same ip is bs....
Alot of ppl hav more than one dekstop and or laptop in there home. with a wire/wireless network persons outside would see the two machines under one adress because they can only see the modem, maybe if they're good enuff the router.

If you get banned, just think, its just a game. =)

listen... I had on my accout 500 silk unused, and I got baned =) Yea its ok to hope but yea.. just a game and its ok to get ban if u dont lose money on it.. BTW it was fun getting ban.. =P

stop botting and hand grind, or STFU and deal with the fact that you may possibly be banned.

no, i dont think they ban you because of using 2 accs on 1 ip.... many people i know play with their brother or have a second pc to play with friends by using a router... they an because of the packets. it was often said that the old softmod (or was is the srobot?) use the packet system that was updated by joymax but is still working... this update was done (if u believe the rumours) some weeks ago so it must be useless to stop botting right now.

they would bann alot of people how maybe never bot

yeah pretty ridiculous, they dont understand us let alone spell like us (on sro click he;p and its so bad english xD) but theyve got to do SOEMTHING... havent thay?
