OK i think this should be in this forum since it is relevant to the problems here and the people with this problem will look here first...
With this said lets get to fixing.
using 127.0.1.1 is a better way, because if you use your ip you will have to possibly redo it every time your ip changes... so try this using the 127.0.1.1 first then if it doesn't work then try this using your ip.
first download the server.dat file and qoproxy.ini files located at the bottom of this thread. Also get your ip, you can get your ip from a ipchecker which you can find on google.com or by going to

Next open the qoproxy.ini file and replace where it says [127.0.1.1 or your ip] with 127.0.1.1 or the ip you get from ipchicken.com.

Next save the qoproxy.ini and place it in your qoproxy file.

Open the server.dat file using notepad or another text editing program with the replace feature. Note: make sure your opening the file from this thread.

now replace all the occurrences of 127.0.0.1 with 127.0.1.1 or your ip in the server.dat file

now save the server.dat file and backup the original and replace it in the Conquer 2.0 file (usually located in C:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0)

If there is any questions please ask, if after you do this it still doesn't work then i am sad i couldn't help you. If it works but then you lag out a little after then your computer is probably lagging then the lag gos to the proxy then to the server then in all that time you lag out and get disconnected, if this happens i am sorry i have no fix for this, maybe somebody else can help you with this... good luck.

if you still expirience problems do this
Run>cmd>ipconfig
It should say
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : XXX.XXX.X.X(copy this)
and put it instead of 127.0.0.1 in your server.dat and your QOProxy.ini
