Operation Conquer Online Private Server Revival a.k.a. Project CR
The activity in this section has been a hot topic last couple of weeks/months, and due to that I believe its possible to form a decent team which aims on keeping the section as 'alive' as possible.

Team members:
- Me (Founder)
- John (Member)
- Fang (Member)
Recruiting? Yes

How to apply?
Send me a PM containing a nice form with information about you.
Name, e-mail, motivation, experience, and so on. Let me know why we (the crew) should let you in. I will try not to get influenced by personal opinion. You don't have to be a coder or anything to join, but I do require knowledge of the game and the ability to speak English fluently.

What are we planning to do?
Coming soon...

Well....i tried an open source project which anyone could contribute to with me writing the core of it, so people merely have to download and add to it, and if they wish make code submissions.

No interest really, good luck getting a team togeather lol.

Anyone could access that, we will only let the team access everything and release some things on the forum too.

Anyone can access what is submitted, but not everyone can submit to it, and if you dont submit to the repo then your code modifications are never shown. I doubt you'll get any interest to be honest, also your last line of your second post is massively egotistical, i suggest you get rid of it....doesnt show you in the best light.

Seems like there is no interest.
I was not talking about releasing nice sources, but also getting rid of leechers, try to get respectable members (back) in the community, figuring out who is trustworthy, writing documentation about Conquer Online and so on.
If inactivity in this operation keeps up, it wont last for much longer.

This community is too damaged to bring back respectable members, or even keep the ones that're still around, I give Jack about another 6 months before he's tired of this community's bullshit.

+1 Arco.

I dont know if im allowed to talk about such a thing here. But is it worth having a forum like ************* just with more activity and get some great members back(Ex: Sparkie or Ultimation)

Good luck getting Sparkie back in the scene.
11/01/2010 18:56 _DreadNought_#12
He was just one of the examples. Theres no chance he will come back.
11/01/2010 20:24 Basser#13
none will come back to this shithole.
wonder why I am still around, and I even wonder more why Korvacs is.

Mods: You should agree.

Sparkie didn't leave, there is just nothing for him to do. The second the new password encryption was out, he got that sorted out.

I'm still debating on whether or not to try to bring back CO with the next-best-"best"- server ever. I don't think it's worth it though.
