Quick Font Fix

Well, when I tried to change the font it self, Conquer would not load. So instead of changing the font face, I changed the size. All you have to do it change the Courier 14 to Courier 12 (located in a text file called font in the the Conquer2.0/ini..folder). Then just reload Conquer.

This way the font itsn't nearly as hard to read, and could be a temporary fix until some awesome person finds a way to change the font face.

Try it for your self and see if you like, hope this helped someone else besides me :D .

i have been having problems with the new font as well... i have found a solution that should work for all, it seems the new update is reading the byte size of the actual font name (Courier) = 7 bytes... i have changed this name(Courier) to another font with the same amount of bytes... in other words....

simply find a font (dir... windows/fonts) and replace... make a backup...

okay after reading the last few post i been trying fonts i like i want times new roman but no go.. but working fonts conquer doesnt crash with

arial
tahoma
courier
centaur
centruy
calibri

and a few more but i only did it like 30 times

SimHei works the best for me Not sure if you guys have it but It must of came with my PC.

i guess my theroy of 7-bytes was a bit off, i replaced the new CO-Font(courier) with the letters (MS)... by doing this i think my font is back to the old one(��)...

try finding the font.ini in the CO directory and replace the text with this (MS 14) <-- without brackets.... adjust the font size by changing the # value.

i know this is a hastle but can you give me a step by step. all i did was goin into the font.ini file and put MS 12 and it did nothing
