ok the new patch is as follows...
Highlights of Patch 4346

New Feature

Server Gryphon split from server HangingGardens will be added to the Myths Group, and it will be available after HangingGardens server split on May 9, 2007. Please click here to submit your request.

Change Made:

1. Adopt the new font 'Courier'.

2. Modify some system messages.

3. Monthly PK Tournament will be adjusted to the usual schedule: 20:30 - 21:10 PDT on the first day of every month.

Note: The 'Change Made' will not work until server maintenance on April 27.

the new font is crap, has anyone found a way to change it? i tried changing it to Ella 14, and co kept getting errors, so i change back and it works fine, then i change to Times_New_Roman 14, same thing, New_times_roman caused same errors, has anyone found a way to change it back, cos i hate this font :(

Hmm... other topics more then the font should be addressed here..... just about ALL the non pixel based hacks(I havn't tested the pixel based yet, but I'm guessing they still work) have stopped...

SV is patched, the speedhack is patched....multiclient.... does that still work?

Proxies stopped working... looses like TQ finally brought the hammer down on botting

No worries, it will always be a war between the botters

BOTTERS > 3x TQs

You will have to wait till all the new hacks/mods/bots are made to work with uncompressed client.

If you don't want to wait, you can go back to an older patch and keep playing until it is fixed.

The real people behind the proxies won't be helping this fight as we did not wish they be released, so, if they do actually take the time to really address the problem, you're screwed.

Well CO2M8 still works and sunny's vs of sv still is working for me.

Haven't tried any proxies yet.

You can change the font but only a few work.

I give it, 1 day until people figure out how to get around the patch on proxy use (it's lame, I already found it and got around it).

for proxies, dl new version of java, put ur server.dat thing back in as patch over wrote it.

as for the fonts, i have tried several more, and i still get errrors on the main loading page :cry:

tq gone too far this time, when my macros work again ima screw my server up so badly :D mass aimbotting, mass guild gate jumping, auto looting in tc, and ill submit to co forums :rolleyes: just cos i know gms wont do shit

The font is referenced in the StrRes.ini many times now. Wasn't before. You can open it with a text editor and have a look.

i could open it... then once i did i would be like... "ok, wtf does this mean? wtf does this do?" and end up screwing things up more :ops:

a1, I changed all font references in StrRes.ini as well; and still CO wont start properly.
The stupidity of that amazes me. Why would a Font.ini be needed in the first place, if they're still only going to let you have 1 font.

hmm, i tried changing weapon models too, cant change them anymore since the patch, my ones from before the patch work fine, but not after. maybe they do a check to make sure that the files read the right thing when you load the client?
