Offscreen gambling (SV)

I've been wondering for a while, how does the offscreen gamblin work? I searched but all I got were dead threads... edit: I've looked through the manual as well, it just makes no sense.

just dl skorms gambler or use the one i made although i still need to patch mine

i think hes talking about the one in script vessel, in that case im not really sure about how it works and dont think that anyone actually uses it, sorta like to plvl setting in SV there but useless.
