Cannot Create File Manager

When I launch srobot it says,

Cant Create File Transfer Manager,
Maybe pack file corrupted or someone is already accessing it now, try a fwe mins later.

Its been telling me that all day yesterday and today, any idea's? Thanks

did u restart ur comp and re-install isro bot?

Re-installing would help

you need to update sro first by going to the folder and run the launcher.

Read the guys error, it has jacksh*t to do with sro. If you dont know anything, dont give false advice to others.

srobot doesnt modify the registry, so a restart wouldnt do anything.

close your antivir resident shield, and firewall, and it should work fine because thats whats likely to be blocking srobot from creating the file transfer manager. Or if that doesnt do anything, make sure you dont have any conflicting processes in task manager (close everything down to the bare system processes, then see what is causing the error).

Oh, and also make sure that there isnt multiple "srobot.exe" running in task manager.

Cant Create File Transfer Manager

last time i checked, that was part of windows, not sro. The BOT fails to initialize, not sro, so updating silkroad wouldnt do anything.

Doesnt work, i closed out all my virus/firewall programs and still same thing, and it has access 2 internet so i dont know why i still receive this error.

I used easter Sm + 1.54. Please helppppppppppppppppppp

are you running vista? windows vista has a problem with the FTM, cuz of the new security features.

if your running xp, FTM must be corrupt. Re-install from here:

as i said, it is not because of a shiet sro install.

Im running XP, i just downloaded the ftm thing and i still get error..

Try another srobot version. And use the latest softmod, not easter.

kascelan when was the last time u update ur client? because last time I forgot to update and put the new sm on, I got same error. Ya phoenix I am a nub, but you don't have to be that mean . First post dude.
