[Question]Merging ?

Hey guys i wander if is it possible to merge account , legions and pets ect.. from adb to another ?

as long as the fields are all the same yes you can merge them. just be careful

It's 100% possible, even TQ managed to do it when they merged Sidney with Toronto ;) But be prepared to do lots of troubleshooting if you try it. There are lots of unique and auto-incrementing fields that might need adjustment. As always, backup, backup, BACKUP! :awesome:

I made as well merge of 2 DO servers - I merged brutal to extreme around 2 months ago (or something like that).
And like Kig_Arthur wrote - be prepared to do lots of troubleshooting and do backups...
I could add my own examples where I have to be careful and what I had to do by hand but this wont help much...
Will just suggest - make test DBs... sacrifice few hours for tests ... and depending how good you are in making fitting to actions like this queries you will get that good effect...

on topic: yes it is possible to merge databases, but it requires a lot(and i mean a lot) of work to do.

This covers merging an account database and a my database into one my database. The think the OP wants to merge two account dbs into one account db and two my dbs into one my db.
