When I killed myself on a guard with my lvl 1 newb he droped some gold? did they fix it?

No, its always been like that. You dont drop anything when killed by a MONSTER but you do if killed by a guard or player.

no if a noob dies at the hand of a player they drop stuff

If you flash you drop, that what i have seen.
