Top 14 Games of 2010/ beggining of 2011.
1. Heroes of Newerth
This Real Time Strategy game pits two teams, called the Legion and Hellbourne, against each other in an 'arena' style setting. Players are prompted to select a single hero to play from a pool over over fifty units.
2. Elemental: War of Magic
Turn-based fantasy wargame in vein of Master of Magic, from Stardock (their Galactic Civilization 2 plus both add-ons to it all got 9+ ratings on Gamespot).
3. Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty
Hyped up and then delayed until "the first half of 2010".
4. Jagged Alliance 3
Jagged Alliance series is pure turn-based perfection. now it returns running on highly modified Silent Storm engine and developed by F3 Games (new developer composed of veteran Russian developers, including ex-Nival people).
5. World War Two Western Front Combat Mission
After disappointing affair with modern combat Battlefront returns to what they do best: WWII tactical wargames.
6. Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight
The year is 2062 and humanity is at the brink of extinction. GDI and NOD go at it again! Due for release on March 16, 2010 according to IGN. Best not to get hopes up, though.
7. M.U.D TV
Humoristic managment game from Realmforge Studios, makers of Ceville (9.0 from IGN)
8. Armada 2526
Epic 4X game from Nitronium Games, company run by R.T.Smith, a Creative Assembly veteran designer and Medieval: Total War lead designer and project manager.
9.Battle of Kingdoms
MMO game inspired by Defense of the Ancients, made by creators of DotA Chaos.
10. Guild Wars 2
Original Guild Wars scored 9.0 at IGN
11. Star Wars: The Old Republic
Star Wars MMORPG from Bioware.
12. Jade Dynasty
Martial arts MMO from company that developed Perfect World Online (a MMO that scored 7.5 at IGN)
13. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm
Third add-on to biggest MMORPG (the original WoW scored, it’s first add-on got and the second one was rated )
14. Call of Duty 7
Treyarch is developing the next installment in the Call of Duty FPS franchise, rumored to be set during the Cold War.
These are not my Top 14... If they were there would be a few that would not even be put in there... and if they were it would be a whole diffrent order for them... so again not my own top they were just in this order so i did it aswell.
