Multiclient

I see many threads poppin up every once in awhile about multiclient for this and that version.

Id like to help this community even little bit now and i be using this trick to get multiclient working for all versions (yes you red right, ALL VERSIONS).

First of all download Hex workshop ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]) and install it.
Then open conquer.exe with hex workshop. Located in "C:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0" folder.

Press find button.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

And search for "Engis" with search type "text string".
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Replace Engis with engis, which means change big E to little e.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Then save the file.
And remember to close conquer before doing this. :)
Please, no more multiclient threads because this is the ultimate WORKING trick then and now. :(

Nice guide, although it's been posted a few times already. This is the best one I've seen for noobs to follow though so good job.

You might let people know that they will loose the server time and day on client using this method.

Thanks Kiom it works for me very good and i have held also my "server time and day", same as with yourself.
I had tried and tried several different multiclients and not one works for me, i get really tiered and despaired of it :fedup: .
And now finnely thanks of your post I have also a multiclient working, thanks again and you get a +k from me.

I just reposted this trick to remind it works with all versions since after every version someone post "new multiclient trick" which is not nesessary.

I think that I don't know excactly with you mean by "look at my signature" for it is not nesessary to give you karma :rolleyes: .
Anyway thanks for the clear explane (you did that before even with pictures by your explaning of the multiclient that even a newbe like me who has never ever before change something with hex could do it -thums up for that-).
And I know it isn't nesessary I give you that karma.
