Okay, what I want to do is to fully customize the interface of conquer, if you go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] u'll find a very good guide to modify the look, i also made one u can access [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] , but in this one im gonna show how to change the position of the differents elements on conquer's interface.
In this ocation as example we'll change the position of the PK buttons PK - TEAM - PEACE - CAPTURE
1.- Find the file conquer/ini/GUI.ini and open it with notepad
2.- Now we have to look for the element we want to change the position, its not easy due the names are not the same, in this file the name for PK buttons are all messed up:
IDC_PK_FREE for PK
IDC_PK_SAFE for TEAM
IDC_PK_GROUP for PEACE
IDC_PK_ARRESTMENT for CAPTURE
So, search for FREE and u'll get into something like this:
[191-1639] //IDC_PK_FREE ¡°PK¡±°´Å¥
x=0
y=1
w=43
h=18
x the horizontal position
y the vertical position
w width
h height
3.- Now that we have what we want is time to start changing the values, im my case what I wanted to do is locate the PK buttons a bit closer and CAPTURE/PK (more used) on one row and TEAM/PEACE on another row.
You can see in the picture the result and also the values needed.
So what is this useful for?
Like i said before for those ppl who want to fully customize the interface, changing colors of skins is not enough, u need to be able to changes positions as well. I'll start now my guide to fully customize the skin also with transparency.
