your taking it for granted that he has a shiet computer. I have a crappy 1.7ghz athlon & 512 ram, but 2 clients run fine. As he stated above, hes already played with 2 clients, so i dont think he needs you to tell him that he shouldnt.

do this old trick if your comp can handle. I am assuming you have win xp pro as os. create an extra user account with admin. first open isrobot and let it bot in the first account. press atl+cntrl+del and look for sro_client in the application tab. right click on it and click minimize to minimize the sro window.

press window key (on your keyboard) + L to switch user. log in to the second account. copy the silkroad folder in a different partition with everything in it. If you dont have a diff partition then just make another folder with different name but same silkroad game files. Install another isrobot and set it to load the second silkroad. Now it should work fine. to minimize the CPU load do the same trick by pressing alt+cntrl+del as above.

when needed you can always go window key+L to switch user and go to diff bots.

my comp spec. is: P4 3.4 HT 1GB RAM Intel P865 MOBO Nvidia FX5700

as you can see its not the best and about 3 years old. When running 2 sro I get 68% CPU load. I can do Other stuff fine...just no other game or graphics related thing.

Enjoy..

lol, i think your exaggerating a bit there eryen.

you need at least 1kb/s or so for torrents to register properly, not counting the actual upload rate. Silkroad takes about 4-5kb/s per client, so i have no idea how you manage to fit that many processes into a 6.4kb/s upstream connection.

Switch accounts as mentioned above. For some reason, i can open quite a few srobots at once, but only one srobot icon appears in the taskbar.

you can run diff client and bot by right clicking and choose 'run as' and choose diff user in windows...but that didnt work for me..so I do it the way I mentioned above. And do not worry about the 'winsock creation error'..its for the bot to connect and listen to the log in server, which you dont need thxz to softmod :)

happy botting till it lasts..well they are gonna do a update today..probably a new version of silkroad client will come out..dunno if softmod will work with that :(

we will wait

For botting will multi client, it will run much faster if you set the resolution to 800x600. It's not like you are playing to enjoy the graphics when you are botting.

Also, zooming out all the way until everything disappears and you can notice the bot will attack and move quicker if your computer is slow. Just a tip. :)
