i had the same problem but i worked after re-installing my windows..... maybe its a programm or driver wich blocks sv :/

i guess ur firewall is somehow blocking it what firewall u got ?

Hopeing this isn't new way of them blocking use.. but I have exact same issue ..
I also installed norton 2007 today but tryed uninstalling and then reinstalling norton and disabling firewall part of it still nothing please all advice welcome...
