Small Problem

Hey guys, I was trying a new private server and several anti virus detected that the server's .exe had a W32/Sality.Y virus. The owner of the server swears there is no virus and it is just the way the files were packed. I wanna know if this is possible or likely ( that what he says is true) Thanks in advance.

Sality is a virus that infects every executable it finds with itself. But you can just clean the file with a good antivirus and use it normally

Most of the time your AV thinks your client has a virus because of the way the client is packed. Try turning off your AV when playing/downloading the Game.
Then when you're done for the day, turn it back on.

Well depending on if your AV is paid for or not You could just remove the Virus, then again you wouldn't want to get rid of your files. By the way, what Dekaron is it that infected your files?

As i said in my previous post, with a paid antivirus you can clean your files. Now that you're infected good luck cleaning... soon all of your EXE files will be infected
