[TuT] How to make a 508 Runescape private server

This is My First TuT so I want to Make Sure I Dont miss Out on anything Please if there is a problem tell me :)


Step1:

Download the Source:

Download the Client :
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]


Download The java jdk:
Google It ! (You Might already have it )


Step2:
Install the JDK java thing

Extract the Source File (Mezzy-Scape 508 Source V3.5) onto your desktop

Then Open folder called CMD

Left Click Runserver2 and edit this line :
C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" Bulby/Server 43594
Look in your java folder in program files and make sure its true if not make changes

Run: Runserver2.bat

then extract the Umairscape client ip chnager to your desktop and run: Run.bat

A little window will come up to enter your IP you can just enter 127.0.0.1 if you want to play alone.

If you want to host Download Hamachi (google it)

And Make A Hamachi Server then enter your hamachi ip ex. 5.172.106.12

How To become and Admin

UPDATE: goto to mezzyscape file bin, data, characters, mainsaves and open chris

Nice tutorial but Bulby is not a good base, try epson it's more stable.

i have a problem after i go into cmd and rune runescape server 2(after checking it) it says starting server like it should (i think) then after that a silver box pops up and says mezzy scape 508 panel with 4 boxes and they all say closed and under construction. I ignore this then option the umair scape client ip changer and i get the error 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

You Need The JVM java Correctly writen in the cmd command by editing it
you can find you java JVM by going to you program files and java

java -Xmx256m client 66 live live software members english game1

how would i change this and were would i get the string of text used to change it i know its in my java folder but were

It means open RunServer2 in notepad and edit the /jre6/ into your own Jre (the version you have)
