*Introduction*
Well, millionth hacking guide i've ever done but first to do with an online game ok? So.. I expect CONSTRUCTIVE comments only. Call me Virtue, im from England. I've been hacking for around 5 years. *Main Body*
The key to this hacking method is social engineering. You need to be good with people to pull this off. First, befriend a character around your level, then make more friends as you play. Once this one friend trusts you, ask him/her for their email addresses so you can talk via email.

Most new users dont bother remembering their recovery info, so hacking these should be easy. Basically, using whatever method you want, gain their account ID. You can do this by simply asking them how they chose THEIR account id or something similar.

Now you have to hack their email accounts, this can be done by simply asking them general questions to gain the answer to their security questions. Now go to the CO website and use the password recovery form to send the password to the email address you just hacked.

If the email address is incorrect, you're out of luck unless they trust you with pw. Obviously once you know the pw, change it, log into game, strip the account, use the vps and possibly go mining.

that way, if they hack, i can beat the sh!t outta them

prolly won't work unless they're really good friends with you, and if they're rele good friends, why do you want to hack them???

You don't have to be very good friends, just know them well enough to get basic info. Or even just shoot questions at them. For example:

Sec Q for '[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].uk' could be 'Food you've always liked?'

Most people dont bother using secure answers for these and use generic ones such as Chocolate, Chips, Pizza etc. If the general ones dont work then just dig deeper.

The real KEY to this hack is being able to get into the hotmail account, without basic social engineering the 'hacker' will fail miserably.

and thank you V for choosing hotmail... i can now spoof the security protocols... or just bomb ur email with porn... i haven't decided that yet...

also pretty good advice... but this will take a LONG time... probablytoo long: if you really want to get into a hotmail account, PM and save yourself the "social engineering" lmao

my suggestion to your tips, first, befriending some one is good... but makea noob and befired some1 with nice equip... but some midlvl... and use ur main to plvl him a few lvls... obvious dont let him know that the two chars are you... or you can get a friend with a high lvl to help...
now that ur friended them, use ur little question game to find out their info... or just call TQ and tell them you went on vacation or moved or got a new comp or w/e and get all the info changed :) just as long as you figured the log in ID and a few bits of info

and dont be suprised if your hotmail account goes screwy for a few days... just so i can proveyou wrong :)

Ok, look hacking and scamming are two COMPLETELY different things.
Every reference to hacking i see is not in fact hacking at all.
You guys need to learn the difference. Hacking requires no social engineering, or befriending a person.
I'm not trying to be negative here just get your terminology right ok.

I been hacking since the trs80, you will probably have to look that one up.

@Vert1go, you are a total *I want to say noob.... but I won't*! Do you have any idea what hacking is? I will give you a little explination on the difference between hacking, SE, and cracking.... For one, hacking is using methods like protocalls, injections, remote, or other type of scrpt to gain access to something, cracking is when you take over something via password, SE is when you gain someone's trust so you can get into out of them...

For a second when I saw the title, I thought you were actually going to talk about hacking, or mainly cracking, but nope.... just another noob posting about SE and thinks it hacking, you havn't been hacking for years, you have been using SE for years.... I use to be a black to gray to white hat hacker, so I DO know what I"m talking about...

brute forcing the email account works with some emails :) just takes along long time

long time.... try weeks to years.... depending on the pass(a 7+ digit pass with numbers, letters(cap and lower case) and symbles = invinceable!)

@Vert1go: That's a pretty good guide for starting out with WHITE HAT hacking... it seems though that your a black hat, so it would make sense that you wouldn't like it.... And I DO not want respect from a black hat, defently don't!

Actually i am neither. I'm a security analyst, i did a course in 'ethical hacking' though so i guess you could consider me a 'gray/grey hat'. I hack for my own pleasure, not for disruption... i used to however :D
