Hello, a question about gamehacking

Hello, I would like if it is possible to some1 to PM me and explain me the way of hacking in to the database of some game and changing a 2-byte integer value from lets say 4000 to 40000 or something like that.
I would like to know what program is the best for that kinda thing, and how to do it :)

what? lol Im just asking how to change something that is server sided, I know how to change it client sided but it wont stick, so Im just asking if some1 could show me the way to do it so it stays, like with packet editing and such...

erm...well hacking into servers is against the law and you'd get thrown in jail for it if you got tracked.. hacking into DB's to change your level or whatever will get you thrown in jail o_o

Sending a packet to edit something server side is not really hacking in the way you think, and doing what you describe is changing a value server side, needs a hell more than just sending packets xD... In other words, forget it :P.
