The Ultimate FastBlade Guide

ok, im not the best fb`er in my server but i consider myself pretty good (defiantly not the worst :D ) but heres a few tips and tricks to help u out with being a good fb`er.

tip 1 (mouse control): fb is all about mouse control, can u aim well with your mouse? can u click at the right time? if no then this is something to practice. fix your fb and go to the arena,jail or even gw`s every time u get the chance and play with the tro`s/wars fbing (no matter what lvl u are u can still practice your skillz even if they own u in one hit) try to count how many hits u get on them (or how many times u pwn them ;) ) keep improving that every time u go, PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!

tip 2 (strategy): you always wanna have a good strategy when u go to a fb war (like your moves, jumps, walks,prediction timing) predicting where or when someone is gonna jump is good, like long jumps are very easy to predict where there gonna land and the time u need to fb. short jumpers and walkers r much harder to hit because u have no time to tell where there next move is or where to fb which leads me to my next category....

tip 3 (tricks of the trade): the key here is to confuse your opponent play tricks with him and get him to move where u want for an easy fb. like a good zig zag will always confuse them to where to jump and u can get a easy fb. also try to catch them off guard when they sit to build stamina by pressing the shift screen key and holding alt to look at where they are, jump and infront of them in while in air aim, fb, and BAM owned ;) remember to always change things up if u do the same thing over and over it gets too noticeable and u will get owned every time.

Just to add my own little tip, I find it nice to jump away from the person you're having a fb war with, and have them follow you. If you jump away and they jump behind you while chasing, it's VERY easy to fb backwards and hit them. Since they're chasing, you know pretty much exactly where they're gonna go... which also means YOU shouldn't chase people, at least not in a straight line.

Lol the blad atack is more than the sword atack bu actully i dont think that FB is stronger than SS i think it is the same

@knitz fb and ss is basicaly the same thing even though blades have more dmg im not sure if that makes a difference in fb just w/e u prefer i guess and yes everything in this guide applies to ss as well The Ultimate FastBlade Guide just sounds cooler than The Ultimate FastBlade/ScentSword Guide + i don't think that would fit ;)

Another tip that MIGHT help out people...
Personally I've found it easier when you're following someone to aim beyond where they're jumping. Usually if someone's sitting still or just landed on the ground I aim at their shadow, but if I'm running after somebody I like to aim past them, still in a straight line. This does two things: First, it keeps my mouse cursor as far away as possible so I can still make the long jumps to catch up to them. Second, for whatever reason I find it easier to draw a mental line from my character to the pointer instead of trying to place the pointer on the jumping/moving shadow.

SS hits faster then FB but FB has lil more damage.

your noobs SS is not stronger then FB nor is FB stronger then SS
it all depends on yoru gear.

if u have 2 blades and soc armor with SDG u do less dmg then 2 swords with full SDG gear. it's common logic

and another TIP:

watch when another person FB/SS's they have a delay of around 2-3 seconds which u can use to ur advantage and FB them during this period

@cuom, using that technique, I pwned a 2rb on my server every time. He fbed after every single second jump without fail, leaving him wide open for me :P

phoenix is good too(FIXED of course) phoenix+cyclone=pwnd:D

So true, i like ss more than fb even though i got my blade fixed and my sword profiency is only 19, but there's way more advantage for me in dueling with sword, cause it's faster and most importantly phoenix, i duel with 2 sword, omg u gonna ownnnn...herc+ss+nix if u have the gourment thunder too, it's nice when u're out of stamina can use thunder to slow ur opponent down. fixed nix get them like 85 - 90 percent of the time when u go into direct hits.

If you go [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] you will see that both fb and ss make the same damage as the weapon.

that means fb will make more damage than ss with weapons of the same quality, level, +s and gems on it (blade/sword) because blades have more damage than swords

*im only talking about dmg

It'd be nice to see some tips on how the people hit you while you're in the damn air.
