Take over the game

I'm not asking if it's possible or not, or if it's a good or stupid idea. What I want to know is, is it against the rules? Can you get banned for it?

This is a rough idea of a plan, not really a good one, nor to be taken littery, just for me to ask if it's legal.

Someone manages to get enough people rallied behind him to form an in-game army. That army(maybe a massive guild idK) takes over the game server, I don't mean they hack the server or anything, but their char is in charge of the server in-game.

They form their own police force in-game via other players that will be paid silvers to patrol in mines or other pk areas, gain ppl's trust idk...
Going on...
The leaders of this new empire of this server shall create laws that the players must follow, even charge taxes! If the players don't follow this, they are a wanted criminal that will be kos to the police force.

Anyways, I don't think something like this is braking any rules, matter of fact, I think it would work out quite nicely, having a high council or something idk....

But you guys can answer, is this against CO's rules? If so, how?

so in other words u just want to have the top guild in the server and own anyone who doesnt agree with you, well not agianst the rules but good luck getting it done

Nice idea but dont think it would work,first off if guild is to large you get fighting withing sometimes.Then there are people who whant there own guilds and only stay in guild till they are powerfull themselfs.Then there are people who whant to do there own thing and will not do as youre guild says no matter what.You cant controll a server and if you do manage it it would not last long.As you would make a lot of enamys and eventualy youre guild would fall.Thats just my opinion anyways hope and ifo i gave helps

funny shit what ur saying, but i was on a conquer server dont remeber which one, was finding a server that suits me, i came acros one with this big guild of 120s and 130s and suposedly they owned the server and shit, and if u did anything they did not like theyed kos u, i found that funny, cuz if u could move chars to another server besides server split that guild would be no more :)

There was this one group(can't say which server) the guild is called The Empire. They managed to take over the server for about 3 days or so.

They started out with a small group of people, and low lvl leader(I'm sure he was a higher lvl on a main, but nobody knew if he even had another higher lvl)
Back to the story..

This guy was around lvl 70 or so, he rounded up abunch of 90s and 100s and one of them made a guild for him called The Empire and made the 70 GL.

I know because I was in the guild at that time

Soon the guild had around 140-145 members and ALOT of Deputy Leaders recuting more and more members. By the time the guild had over 200 members(all atleast 70 if not 100+ or rb once) they posted in the bulletin that they were planning forming an empire itself. The lvl 70 convinced most of the guild(including me) to help as a police force to gain trust of members or something, anyway we went to commen pk areas and stopped pkers, soon enough the GL announced that the guild would then take over the server.

Most of the guild members formed in an army in TC. Even know we couldn't PK, we announced that we will not be the self proclaimed rulers of the game, and if anyone had anything to say about it, they would be an "outlaw".

Of course, lots of ppl said NO, but we couldn't do anything in TC, so we just said it's going to happen and we went for a nice big battle.

We went to AC where other enemy guilds and other ppl that said no were rallying. Our army then fought the noobs and killed them, and we told them that they could either be an outlawed kos char or a loved and legal char(something like that). Some said ok, some didn't either way, the police force was pretty good and nobody was stopping us.

I would patrol the AC mines with a partner, we were using coboto to look for flashing/red/black names, which we would kos if we saw. Anyways, long story short, The Empire ruled the server for a good 2-3 days until some high council members were thrown in jail for botting(they used aimbots and gave aimbots away to the police force in-game) and the main leader got thrown in bot jail too, they all got themselves out via exploit and were soon banned, but they tried to keep everything togeather, after about 3 days the whole thing fell apart with rebelling police, spys, even a resistance lol...

Anyway, I don't even know if the guild is still around anymore, but I think if it was more organized, it could of worked(or they leader could of been banished to an island like Neapolitan(or however you spell it))

I don't think TQ would ban you for doing something like this, but I do think they would try their hardest to ban you for another reason

youget little wannabe gangsters who form a guild and make people scared and then along comes a educated pvper with a aimbot and a bot, bots to 130 and rbs, owns the whole guild, ive seen it happen before

on jupiter there was a guild of all 100+ rbs, only about 20 of them but it was a strong guild, the people knew most of their guildies and they were db buyers, full supers ect.

On bi i was plvling a noob friend of mine when the guild came and "took over" bi, first hawking and second hawking island were dominated


the guild then took over outside the city ksing and pking.

the hype died down and a couple weeks later my noob friend got his first rb, at 127 water-tro


i borrowed my friends archer and had him back up to 110 within a week.

the rb guild tried taking over bi again, and succeeded, untill my friend went on his tro rb (not so noobish at that point, 120 full soc)

within 15 minutes his pkp was over 1500, and by the end of the day the guild disbanded and a few people were banned.


the moral of the story is power = useless without control, at 130 a trojan can 1 hit any player any class any level in theory *i know this isnt the case 100% so dont flame >.>*

to make a server takeover you would need a high majority of players over 120 to side with you, otherwise the outlawed high levels would band together and annihilate


In the rules however i havent seen any rule about players taking over a server in game, but if hacks were concerned i think action would be taken and the instigators would be questioned, my 2 cents.

Of course we would need high lvl tros helping us, actually, I was acouting diff servers today grading them by amount of high lvl archers(for plvling) high lvl tros(are threats), rbs(guards can be pesky) and 2nd rbs(damn).

The server with the most archers, least tros/2nd rbs would be best to "take over"

aimbots could help us out, but we would end up being banned by the end of it all, yea there would be alot of battles, but this debate can be furthered when I look into it some more and make an actual topic about taking over the server itself.

If the epvp coumminity came togeather and formed a nice empire, we would have no problem taking over a server, being as powerful we are

The way i see it if you whant to try and take over server go for it.That way you have a goal to aim for in the game. I find a lot of people dont get very good at this game because they have no goal.Good luck

I dont know .. it has somewhat happened on crystal.. now i think on mondays, thursdays & saturdays only lvl 130 archers are allowed to lvl or plvl on adv zone because u know how they own basilisks and alien serps with 1 or 2 scatters. Prevents other people from leveling.. i dont like it .. my friend has a single all socked 130 lvl archer.. he plvls pretty good but my friend follows the rule.. he doesnt plvl other than days mentioned above .. i dont like it because he has spent around 1. 5 years making his archer so powerful .. now he should be reaping the fruits of his efforts .. not following some day rules.. but thats my view to look at it .. I DO NOT DISPIZE PEOPLE WHO LIKE THE RULE .. its just the way they think =)

Not against rules, just very difficult to enforce.
That, and it would only be good for those who had high positions.
Think about it, if you were the guy paying these "taxes", it would suck, especially if you dont play much.
But, on the other hand, if you get paid, then it seems like a good idea huh?
It would give the game more depth, so i would actually play the game again if this did happen.
But i just have to doubt it would.

This will not work because you have zero way of enforcing any rules you make. Now if you had some form of admin rights and people have something to actually fear then yes it may work. Reminds me of the Anime show .hack where they had a group of players protecting the game. But in conquer this is not illegal... just not possible. Just play the game and have fun. Guilds sorta do that now anyhow.
