Hello everyone, im gonna share another method of changing / fixing the boxes that you can see in practice mode or option in GC. I'm sure you are aware that you have boxes ([]) instead of symbols such as stars or arrows. Well to solve this you need the East Asian Language Pack.
Requirements:
Windows XP SP2 (Complete files)
i386 Directory / Folder
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...](Optional)
Windows XP Disc (Some computer may not require a disk. Just read the steps below)
Steps:
> Download the East Asian Language Pack, if you have that already, of course skip this step.
> When its done, extract it and we are ready to begin. First go to the Control Panel. You can find it in the Start Menu here.
> Next click Regional and Language Settings (Its the globe icon)
> Now select the Languages tab. Select the following then apply.
> Now downloading. If nothing Pop-Ups you succeed. But when something Pop-Up like this ; it means you doesnt have the i386 files, and you need the Windows XP CD, if you dont have the CD, download an ISO file directly from Internet.
> When finished downloading / mounting, extract the files, then search and browse for the needed file (for ex: xjis.nls)
Just install that and wait. After that you'll get a message to restart your computer.
And thats it! You now have the language pack installed, and BOOM, the boxes will disappear and become symbols :)
If you have problems in installing, just post it here so that i can entertain you.
